DO NOT continue printing after this warning! The print head can over-heat and die. I always have a spare set on hand and I always print right up to the point where the printer says it is out of ink for that cartridge. BTW, Canon printers tell you that the cartridges are running low when they are still about 25% full. You must use the Ilford profile for it, and disable all printer driver colour management, allowing Photoshop to manage the printing colour management. Nice paper, if you are not already familiar with it. Hope this sheds some light on the subject for you. I have found that I get about 90 pages of A4 photo quality prints from a set of colour cartridges, and around double this from the two black cartridges. If you convert a pro-printer to do solely B&W printing, you may have 8 or nine different "black" cartridges, each of which gives a different density of ink coverage. One is a 'PRINT' black, the other is a 'PHOTO' black.
